McGill Send-off
Once again, several McGill alumni sent off the newest group of freshmen going from the Bay Area to McGill at McArthur Park in Palo Alto. McGill Alumni came to share their experiences, offer tips on fun places to go in Montreal and set the parents of the new students at ease.

McGill Alumni Baseball Event was a homerun!
The baseball game was a hit! Over 101 McGill Alumni and friends gathered at Pacbell Park to see the Montreal Expos defeat the San Francisco Giants (and eventually sweep the series). It was a tremendously popular and successful event with lots of prizes given away and new friends made. Check back for PHOTOS of this event...click here!

McGill and the Habs at the Shark Tank
It was an exciting night at the HP Pavilion where over 50 Alumni watched the Montreal Canadiens play against the San Jose Sharks. Even though they lost in a close game, the Alumni were still in high spirits. Can't wait until next year!

McGill Holiday Event
The Alumni celebrated the holidays collecting toys for the SF Fire Fighter's Toy Drive and enjoying lunch at the Grandview Restaurant in Burlingame. Door prizes were given and all had a great time despite the rainy weather.

Autumn Alumni Reception
Many welcomed guest speaker Dean Abraham Fuks from McGill's Faculty of Medicine on his presentation and discussion on The Language of Medicine: Metaphors of War in the Battle for Your Health. It was a great reception at the University Club for all.

Hockey Night in San Jose!
Several McGill Alumni joined the Digital Moose Lounge to watch the Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks 5-2. It was an exciting game at the Shark tank with many Canadians cheering for their "home" team.

Sofinnova Ventures plays host to March Alumni event
In March, a large group of McGill alumni graciously welcomed Derek Drummond, Vice-Principal of Development and Alumni Relations at McGill. He engaged the audience with an update on all the exciting new changes at the Montreal McGill campus, as well as fascinating discussion on city planning. Read the press release here.
